| 1 καὶ νῦν οὕτως λέγει κύριος ὁ θεὸς ὁ ποιήσας σε Ιακωβ ὁ πλάσας σε Ισραηλ μὴ φοβοῦ ὅτι ἐλυτρωσάμην σε ἐκάλεσά σε τὸ ὄνομά σου ἐμὸς εἶ σύ 2 καὶ ἐὰν διαβαίνῃς δι' ὕδατος μετὰ σοῦ εἰμι καὶ ποταμοὶ οὐ συγκλύσουσίν σε καὶ ἐὰν διέλθῃς διὰ πυρός οὐ μὴ κατακαυθῇς φλὸξ οὐ κατακαύσει σε 3 ὅτι ἐγὼ κύριος ὁ θεός σου ὁ ἅγιος Ισραηλ ὁ σῴζων σε ἐποίησά σου ἄλλαγμα Αἴγυπτον καὶ Αἰθιοπίαν καὶ Σοήνην ὑπὲρ σοῦ 4 ἀφ' οὗ ἔντιμος ἐγένου ἐναντίον μου ἐδοξάσθης κἀγώ σε ἠγάπησα καὶ δώσω ἀνθρώπους πολλοὺς ὑπὲρ σοῦ καὶ ἄρχοντας ὑπὲρ τῆς κεφαλῆς σου 5 μὴ φοβοῦ ὅτι μετὰ σοῦ εἰμι ἀπὸ ἀνατολῶν ἄξω τὸ σπέρμα σου καὶ ἀπὸ δυσμῶν συνάξω σε 6 ἐρῶ τῷ βορρᾷ ἄγε καὶ τῷ λιβί μὴ κώλυε ἄγε τοὺς υἱούς μου ἀπὸ γῆς πόρρωθεν καὶ τὰς θυγατέρας μου ἀπ' ἄκρων τῆς γῆς 7 πάντας ὅσοι ἐπικέκληνται τῷ ὀνόματί μου ἐν γὰρ τῇ δόξῃ μου κατεσκεύασα αὐτὸν καὶ ἔπλασα καὶ ἐποίησα αὐτόν 8 καὶ ἐξήγαγον λαὸν τυφλόν καὶ ὀφθαλμοί εἰσιν ὡσαύτως τυφλοί καὶ κωφοὶ τὰ ὦτα ἔχοντες 9 πάντα τὰ ἔθνη συνήχθησαν ἅμα καὶ συναχθήσονται ἄρχοντες ἐξ αὐτῶν τίς ἀναγγελεῖ ταῦτα ἢ τὰ ἐξ ἀρχῆς τίς ἀναγγελεῖ ὑμῖν ἀγαγέτωσαν τοὺς μάρτυρας αὐτῶν καὶ δικαιωθήτωσαν καὶ εἰπάτωσαν ἀληθῆ 10 γένεσθέ μοι μάρτυρες κἀγὼ μάρτυς λέγει κύριος ὁ θεός καὶ ὁ παῖς ὃν ἐξελεξάμην ἵνα γνῶτε καὶ πιστεύσητε καὶ συνῆτε ὅτι ἐγώ εἰμι ἔμπροσθέν μου οὐκ ἐγένετο ἄλλος θεὸς καὶ μετ' ἐμὲ οὐκ ἔσται 11 ἐγὼ ὁ θεός καὶ οὐκ ἔστιν πάρεξ ἐμοῦ σῴζων 12 ἀνήγγειλα καὶ ἔσωσα ὠνείδισα καὶ οὐκ ἦν ἐν ὑμῖν ἀλλότριος ὑμεῖς ἐμοὶ μάρτυρες κἀγὼ μάρτυς λέγει κύριος ὁ θεός 13 ἔτι ἀπ' ἀρχῆς καὶ οὐκ ἔστιν ὁ ἐκ τῶν χειρῶν μου ἐξαιρούμενος ποιήσω καὶ τίς ἀποστρέψει αὐτό 14 οὕτως λέγει κύριος ὁ θεὸς ὁ λυτρούμενος ὑμᾶς ὁ ἅγιος Ισραηλ ἕνεκεν ὑμῶν ἀποστελῶ εἰς Βαβυλῶνα καὶ ἐπεγερῶ πάντας φεύγοντας καὶ Χαλδαῖοι ἐν πλοίοις δεθήσονται 15 ἐγὼ κύριος ὁ θεὸς ὁ ἅγιος ὑμῶν ὁ καταδείξας Ισραηλ βασιλέα ὑμῶν 16 οὕτως λέγει κύριος ὁ διδοὺς ὁδὸν ἐν θαλάσσῃ καὶ ἐν ὕδατι ἰσχυρῷ τρίβον 17 ὁ ἐξαγαγὼν ἅρματα καὶ ἵππον καὶ ὄχλον ἰσχυρόν ἀλλὰ ἐκοιμήθησαν καὶ οὐκ ἀναστήσονται ἐσβέσθησαν ὡς λίνον ἐσβεσμένον 18 μὴ μνημονεύετε τὰ πρῶτα καὶ τὰ ἀρχαῖα μὴ συλλογίζεσθε 19 ἰδοὺ ποιῶ καινὰ ἃ νῦν ἀνατελεῖ καὶ γνώσεσθε αὐτά καὶ ποιήσω ἐν τῇ ἐρήμῳ ὁδὸν καὶ ἐν τῇ ἀνύδρῳ ποταμούς 20 εὐλογήσει με τὰ θηρία τοῦ ἀγροῦ σειρῆνες καὶ θυγατέρες στρουθῶν ὅτι ἔδωκα ἐν τῇ ἐρήμῳ ὕδωρ καὶ ποταμοὺς ἐν τῇ ἀνύδρῳ ποτίσαι τὸ γένος μου τὸ ἐκλεκτόν 21 λαόν μου ὃν περιεποιησάμην τὰς ἀρετάς μου διηγεῖσθαι | 1 And now thus says the Lord that created you, O Jacob, and formed you, O Israel: Fear not, for I have redeemed you, and called you by your name: you are mine. 2 When you shall pass through the waters, I will be with you, and the rivers shall not cover you: when you shall walk in the fire, you shall not be burnt, and the flames shall not burn in you: 3 For I am the Lord your God, the Holy One of Israel, your Saviour: I have given Egypt for your atonement, Ethiopia and Saba for you. 4 Since you became honourable in my eyes, you are glorious: I have loved you, and I will give men for you, and people for your life. 5 Fear not, for I am with you: I will bring your seed from the east, and gather you from the west. 6 I will say to the north: Give up: and to the south: Keep not back: bring my sons from afar, and my daughters from the ends of the earth. 7 And every one that calls upon my name, I have created him for my glory. I have formed him, and made him. 8 Bring forth the people that are blind, and have eyes: that are deaf, and have ears. 9 All the nations are assembled together, and the tribes are gathered: who among you can declare this, and shall make us hear the former things? Let them bring forth their witnesses, let them be justified, and hear, and say: It is truth. 10 You are my witnesses, says the Lord, and my servant whom I have chosen: that you may know, and believe me, and understand that I myself am. Before me there was no God formed, and after me there shall be none. 11 I am, I am the Lord: and there is no saviour besides me. 12 I have declared, and have saved. I have made it heard, and there was no strange one among you. You are my witnesses, says the Lord, and I am God. 13 And from the beginning I am the same, and there is none that can deliver out of my hind: I will work, and who shall turn it away? 14 Thus says the Lord your redeemer, the Holy One of Israel: For your sake I sent to Babylon, and have brought down all their bars, and the Chaldeans glorying in their ships. 15 I am the Lord your Holy One, the Creator of Israel, your King. 16 Thus says the Lord, who made a way in the sea, and a path in the mighty waters. 17 Who brought forth the chariot and the horse, the army and the strong: they lay down to sleep together, and they shall not rise again: they are broken as flax, and are extinct. 18 Remember not former things, and look not on things of old. 19 Behold I do new things, and now they shall spring forth, verily you shall know them: I will make a way in the wilderness, and rivers in the desert. 20 The beast of the field shall glorify me, the dragons and the ostriches: because I have given waters in the wilderness, rivers in the desert, to give drink to my people, to my chosen. 21 This people have I formed for myself, they shall show forth my praise. | 1 Et nunc hæc dicit Dominus creans te, Jacob, et formans te, Israël : Noli timere, quia redemi te, et vocavi te nomine tuo : meus es tu. 2 Cum transieris per aquas, tecum ero, et flumina non operient te; cum ambulaveris in igne, non combureris, et flamma non ardebit in te. 3 Quia ego Dominus Deus tuus, Sanctus Israël, salvator tuus, dedi propitiationem tuam Ægyptum, Æthopiam, et Saba, pro te. 4 Ex quo honorabilis factus es in oculis meis, et gloriosus, ego dilexi te, et dabo homines pro te, et populos pro anima tua. 5 Noli timere, quia ego tecum sum; ab oriente adducam semen tuum, et ab occidente congregabo te. 6 Dicam aquiloni : Da; et austro : Noli prohibere : affer filios meos de longinquo, et filias meas ab extremis terræ. 7 Et omnem qui invocat nomen meum, in gloriam meam creavi eum, formavi eum, et feci eum. 8 Educ foras populum cæcum, et oculos habentem; surdum, et aures ei sunt. 9 Omnes gentes congregatæ sunt simul, et collectæ sunt tribus. Quis in vobis annuntiet istud, et quæ prima sunt audire nos faciet? Dent testes eorum, justificentur, et audiant, et dicant : Vere. 10 Vos testes mei, dicit Dominus, et servus meus quem elegi : ut sciatis, et credatis mihi, et intelligatis quia ego ipse sum; ante me non est formatus Deus, et post me non erit. 11 Ego sum, ego sum Dominus, et non est absque me salvator. 12 Ego annuntiavi, et salvavi; auditum feci, et non fuit in vobis alienus : vos testes mei, dicit Dominus, et ego Deus. 13 Et ab initio ego ipse, et non est qui de manu mea eruat. Operabor, et quis avertet illud? 14 Hæc dicit Dominus, redemptor vester, Sanctus Israël : Propter vos misi in Babylonem, et detraxi vectes universos, et Chaldæos in navibus suis gloriantes. 15 Ego Dominus, Sanctus vester, creans Israël, rex vester. 16 Hæc dicit Dominus, qui dedit in mari viam, et in aquis torrentibus semitam; 17 qui eduxit quadrigam et equum, agmen et robustum : simul obdormierunt, nec resurgent; contriti sunt quasi linum, et extincti sunt. 18 Ne memineritis priorum, et antiqua ne intueamini. 19 Ecce ego facio nova, et nunc orientur, utique cognoscetis ea : ponam in deserto viam, et in invio flumina. 20 Glorificabit me bestia agri, dracones, et struthiones : quia dedi in deserto aquas, flumina in invio, ut darem potum populo meo, electo meo. 21 Populum istum formavi mihi : laudem meam narrabit. |
| 22 οὐ νῦν ἐκάλεσά σε Ιακωβ οὐδὲ κοπιᾶσαί σε ἐποίησα Ισραηλ 23 οὐκ ἐμοὶ πρόβατα τῆς ὁλοκαρπώσεώς σου οὐδὲ ἐν ταῖς θυσίαις σου ἐδόξασάς με οὐδὲ ἔγκοπον ἐποίησά σε ἐν λιβάνῳ 24 οὐδὲ ἐκτήσω μοι ἀργυρίου θυμίαμα οὐδὲ τὸ στέαρ τῶν θυσιῶν σου ἐπεθύμησα ἀλλὰ ἐν ταῖς ἁμαρτίαις σου καὶ ἐν ταῖς ἀδικίαις σου προέστην σου 25 ἐγώ εἰμι ἐγώ εἰμι ὁ ἐξαλείφων τὰς ἀνομίας σου καὶ οὐ μὴ μνησθήσομαι 26 σὺ δὲ μνήσθητι καὶ κριθῶμεν λέγε σὺ τὰς ἀνομίας σου πρῶτος ἵνα δικαιωθῇς 27 οἱ πατέρες ὑμῶν πρῶτοι καὶ οἱ ἄρχοντες αὐτῶν ἠνόμησαν εἰς ἐμέ 28 καὶ ἐμίαναν οἱ ἄρχοντες τὰ ἅγιά μου καὶ ἔδωκα ἀπολέσαι Ιακωβ καὶ Ισραηλ εἰς ὀνειδισμόν | 22 But you have not called upon me, O Jacob, neither have you laboured about me, O Israel. 23 You have not offered me the ram of your holocaust, nor have you glorified me with your victims: I have not caused you to serve with oblations, nor wearied you with incense. 24 You have bought me no sweet cane with money, neither have you filled me with the fat of your victims. But you have made me to serve with your sins, you have wearied me with your iniquities. 25 I am, I am he that blot out your iniquities for my own sake, and I will not remember your sins. 26 Put me in remembrance, and let us plead together: tell if you have anything to justify yourself. 27 Your first father sinned, and your teachers have transgressed against me. 28 And I have profaned the holy princes, I have given Jacob to slaughter, and Israel to reproach. | 22 Non me invocasti, Jacob, nec laborasti in me, Israël. 23 Non obtulisti mihi arietem holocausti tui, et victimis tuis non glorificasti me; non te servire feci in oblatione, nec laborem tibi præbui in thure. 24 Non emisti mihi argento calamum, et adipe victimarum tuarum non inebriasti me : verumtamen servire me fecisti in peccatis tuis; præbuisti mihi laborem in iniquitatibus tuis. 25 Ego sum, ego sum ipse qui deleo iniquitates tuas propter me, et peccatorum tuorum non recordabor. 26 Reduc me in memoriam, et judicemur simul : narra si quid habes ut justificeris. 27 Pater tuus primus peccavit, et interpretes tui prævaricati sunt in me : 28 et contaminavi principes sanctos; dedi ad internecionem Jacob, et Israël in blasphemiam. |
