1 καὶ ἔδειξέν μοι Ἰησοῦν τὸν ἱερέα τὸν μέγαν ἑστῶτα πρὸ προσώπου ἀγγέλου κυρίου καὶ ὁ διάβολος εἱστήκει ἐκ δεξιῶν αὐτοῦ τοῦ ἀντικεῖσθαι αὐτῷ 2 καὶ εἶπεν κύριος πρὸς τὸν διάβολον ἐπιτιμήσαι κύριος ἐν σοί διάβολε καὶ ἐπιτιμήσαι κύριος ἐν σοὶ ὁ ἐκλεξάμενος τὴν Ιερουσαλημ οὐκ ἰδοὺ τοῦτο ὡς δαλὸς ἐξεσπασμένος ἐκ πυρός 3 καὶ Ἰησοῦς ἦν ἐνδεδυμένος ἱμάτια ῥυπαρὰ καὶ εἱστήκει πρὸ προσώπου τοῦ ἀγγέλου 4 καὶ ἀπεκρίθη καὶ εἶπεν πρὸς τοὺς ἑστηκότας πρὸ προσώπου αὐτοῦ λέγων ἀφέλετε τὰ ἱμάτια τὰ ῥυπαρὰ ἀπ' αὐτοῦ καὶ εἶπεν πρὸς αὐτόν ἰδοὺ ἀφῄρηκα τὰς ἀνομίας σου καὶ ἐνδύσατε αὐτὸν ποδήρη 5 καὶ ἐπίθετε κίδαριν καθαρὰν ἐπὶ τὴν κεφαλὴν αὐτοῦ καὶ περιέβαλον αὐτὸν ἱμάτια καὶ ἐπέθηκαν κίδαριν καθαρὰν ἐπὶ τὴν κεφαλὴν αὐτοῦ καὶ ὁ ἄγγελος κυρίου εἱστήκει 6 καὶ διεμαρτύρατο ὁ ἄγγελος κυρίου πρὸς Ἰησοῦν λέγων 7 τάδε λέγει κύριος παντοκράτωρ ἐὰν ἐν ταῖς ὁδοῖς μου πορεύῃ καὶ ἐὰν τὰ προστάγματά μου φυλάξῃς καὶ σὺ διακρινεῖς τὸν οἶκόν μου καὶ ἐὰν διαφυλάξῃς καί γε τὴν αὐλήν μου καὶ δώσω σοι ἀναστρεφομένους ἐν μέσῳ τῶν ἑστηκότων τούτων 8 ἄκουε δή Ἰησοῦ ὁ ἱερεὺς ὁ μέγας σὺ καὶ οἱ πλησίον σου οἱ καθήμενοι πρὸ προσώπου σου διότι ἄνδρες τερατοσκόποι εἰσί διότι ἰδοὺ ἐγὼ ἄγω τὸν δοῦλόν μου Ἀνατολήν 9 διότι ὁ λίθος ὃν ἔδωκα πρὸ προσώπου Ἰησοῦ ἐπὶ τὸν λίθον τὸν ἕνα ἑπτὰ ὀφθαλμοί εἰσιν ἰδοὺ ἐγὼ ὀρύσσω βόθρον λέγει κύριος παντοκράτωρ καὶ ψηλαφήσω πᾶσαν τὴν ἀδικίαν τῆς γῆς ἐκείνης ἐν ἡμέρᾳ μιᾷ 10 ἐν τῇ ἡμέρᾳ ἐκείνῃ λέγει κύριος παντοκράτωρ συγκαλέσετε ἕκαστος τὸν πλησίον αὐτοῦ ὑποκάτω ἀμπέλου καὶ ὑποκάτω συκῆς

1 And the Lord showed me Jesus the high priest standing before the angel of the Lord: and Satan stood on his right hand to be his adversary. 2 And the Lord said to Satan: The Lord rebuke you, O Satan: and the Lord that chose Jerusalem rebuke you: Is not this a brand plucked out of the fire? 3 And Jesus was clothed with filthy garments: and he stood before the face of the angel. 4 Who answered, and said to them that stood before him, saying: Take away the filthy garments from him. And he said to him: Behold I have taken away your iniquity, and have clothed you with change of garments. 5 And he said: Put a clean mitre upon his head: and they put a clean mitre upon his head, and clothed him with garments, and the angel of the Lord stood. 6 And the angel of the Lord protested to Jesus, saying: 7 Thus says the Lord of hosts: If you will walk in my ways, and keep my charge, you also shall judge my house, and shall keep my courts, and I will give you some of them that are now present here to walk with you. 8 Hear, O Jesus you high priest, you and your friends that dwell before you, for they are portending men: for behold, I WILL BRING MY SERVANT THE ORIENT. 9 For behold the stone that I have laid before Jesus: upon one stone there are seven eyes: behold I will grave the graving thereof, says the Lord of hosts: and I will take away the iniquity of that land in one day. 10 In that day, says the Lord of hosts, every man shall call his friend under the vine and under the fig tree.

1 Et ostendit mihi Dominus Jesum sacerdotem magnum, stantem coram angelo Domini : et Satan stabat a dextris ejus ut adversaretur ei. 2 Et dixit Dominus ad Satan : Increpet Dominus in te, Satan! et increpet Dominus in te, qui elegit Jerusalem! numquid non iste torris est erutus de igne? 3 Et Jesus erat indutus vestibus sordidis, et stabat ante faciem angeli. 4 Qui respondit, et ait ad eos qui stabant coram se, dicens : Auferte vestimenta sordida ab eo. Et dixit ad eum : Ecce abstuli a te iniquitatem tuam, et indui te mutatoriis. 5 Et dixit : Ponite cidarim mundam super caput ejus. Et posuerunt cidarim mundam super caput ejus, et induerunt eum vestibus : et angelus Domini stabat. 6 Et contestabatur angelus Domini Jesum, dicens: 7 Hæc dicit Dominus exercituum : Si in viis meis ambulaveris, et custodiam meam custodieris, tu quoque judicabis domum meam, et custodies atria mea, et dabo tibi ambulantes de his qui nunc hic assistunt. 8 Audi, Jesu sacerdos magne, tu et amici tui, qui habitant coram te, quia viri portendentes sunt : ecce enim ego adducam servum meum Orientem. 9 Quia ecce lapis quem dedi coram Jesu : super lapidem unum septem oculi sunt : ecce ego cælabo sculpturam ejus, ait Dominus exercituum, et auferam iniquitatem terræ illius in die una. 10 In die illa, dicit Dominus exercituum, vocabit vir amicum suum subter vitem et subter ficum.
