| 1 καὶ υἱοὶ Ισραηλ κατ' ἀριθμὸν αὐτῶν ἄρχοντες τῶν πατριῶν χιλίαρχοι καὶ ἑκατόνταρχοι καὶ γραμματεῖς οἱ λειτουργοῦντες τῷ λαῷ καὶ εἰς πᾶν λόγον τοῦ βασιλέως κατὰ διαιρέσεις εἰς πᾶν λόγον τοῦ εἰσπορευομένου καὶ ἐκπορευομένου μῆνα ἐκ μηνὸς εἰς πάντας τοὺς μῆνας τοῦ ἐνιαυτοῦ διαίρεσις μία εἴκοσι καὶ τέσσαρες χιλιάδες 2 καὶ ἐπὶ τῆς διαιρέσεως τῆς πρώτης τοῦ μηνὸς τοῦ πρώτου Ιεσβοαμ ὁ τοῦ Ζαβδιηλ καὶ ἐπὶ τῆς διαιρέσεως αὐτοῦ εἴκοσι καὶ τέσσαρες χιλιάδες 3 ἀπὸ τῶν υἱῶν Φαρες ἄρχων πάντων τῶν ἀρχόντων τῆς δυνάμεως τοῦ μηνὸς τοῦ πρώτου 4 καὶ ἐπὶ τῆς διαιρέσεως τοῦ μηνὸς τοῦ δευτέρου Δωδια ὁ Εχωχι καὶ ἐπὶ τῆς διαιρέσεως αὐτοῦ εἴκοσι καὶ τέσσαρες χιλιάδες ἄρχοντες δυνάμεως 5 ὁ τρίτος τὸν μῆνα τὸν τρίτον Βαναιας ὁ τοῦ Ιωδαε ὁ ἱερεὺς ὁ ἄρχων καὶ ἐπὶ τῆς διαιρέσεως αὐτοῦ τέσσαρες καὶ εἴκοσι χιλιάδες 6 αὐτὸς Βαναιας δυνατώτερος τῶν τριάκοντα καὶ ἐπὶ τῶν τριάκοντα καὶ ἐπὶ τῆς διαιρέσεως αὐτοῦ Αμιζαβαθ υἱὸς αὐτοῦ 7 ὁ τέταρτος εἰς τὸν μῆνα τὸν τέταρτον Ασαηλ ὁ ἀδελφὸς Ιωαβ καὶ Ζαβδιας ὁ υἱὸς αὐτοῦ καὶ οἱ ἀδελφοί καὶ ἐπὶ τῆς διαιρέσεως αὐτοῦ τέσσαρες καὶ εἴκοσι χιλιάδες 8 ὁ πέμπτος τῷ μηνὶ τῷ πέμπτῳ ὁ ἡγούμενος Σαμαωθ ὁ Ιεσραε καὶ ἐπὶ τῆς διαιρέσεως αὐτοῦ εἴκοσι τέσσαρες χιλιάδες 9 ὁ ἕκτος τῷ μηνὶ τῷ ἕκτῳ Οδουιας ὁ τοῦ Εκκης ὁ Θεκωίτης καὶ ἐπὶ τῆς διαιρέσεως αὐτοῦ τέσσαρες καὶ εἴκοσι χιλιάδες 10 ὁ ἕβδομος τῷ μηνὶ τῷ ἑβδόμῳ Χελλης ὁ ἐκ Φαλλους ἀπὸ τῶν υἱῶν Εφραιμ καὶ ἐπὶ τῆς διαιρέσεως αὐτοῦ τέσσαρες καὶ εἴκοσι χιλιάδες 11 ὁ ὄγδοος τῷ μηνὶ τῷ ὀγδόῳ Σοβοχαι ὁ Ισαθι τῷ Ζαραϊ καὶ ἐπὶ τῆς διαιρέσεως αὐτοῦ τέσσαρες καὶ εἴκοσι χιλιάδες 12 ὁ ἔνατος τῷ μηνὶ τῷ ἐνάτῳ Αβιεζερ ὁ ἐξ Αναθωθ ἐκ γῆς Βενιαμιν καὶ ἐπὶ τῆς διαιρέσεως αὐτοῦ τέσσαρες καὶ εἴκοσι χιλιάδες 13 ὁ δέκατος τῷ μηνὶ τῷ δεκάτῳ Μεηρα ὁ ἐκ Νετουφατ τῷ Ζαραϊ καὶ ἐπὶ τῆς διαιρέσεως αὐτοῦ τέσσαρες καὶ εἴκοσι χιλιάδες 14 ὁ ἑνδέκατος τῷ μηνὶ τῷ ἑνδεκάτῳ Βαναιας ὁ ἐκ Φαραθων τῶν υἱῶν Εφραιμ καὶ ἐπὶ τῆς διαιρέσεως αὐτοῦ τέσσαρες καὶ εἴκοσι χιλιάδες 15 ὁ δωδέκατος εἰς τὸν μῆνα τὸν δωδέκατον Χολδαι ὁ Νετωφατι τῷ Γοθονιηλ καὶ ἐπὶ τῆς διαιρέσεως αὐτοῦ τέσσαρες καὶ εἴκοσι χιλιάδες 16 καὶ ἐπὶ τῶν φυλῶν Ισραηλ τῷ Ρουβην ἡγούμενος Ελιεζερ ὁ τοῦ Ζεχρι τῷ Συμεων Σαφατιας ὁ τοῦ Μααχα 17 τῷ Λευι Ασαβιας ὁ τοῦ Καμουηλ τῷ Ααρων Σαδωκ 18 τῷ Ιουδα Ελιαβ τῶν ἀδελφῶν Δαυιδ τῷ Ισσαχαρ Αμβρι ὁ τοῦ Μιχαηλ 19 τῷ Ζαβουλων Σαμαιας ὁ τοῦ Αβδιου τῷ Νεφθαλι Ιεριμωθ ὁ τοῦ Εσριηλ 20 τῷ Εφραιμ Ωση ὁ τοῦ Οζιου τῷ ἡμίσει φυλῆς Μανασση Ιωηλ ὁ τοῦ Φαδαια 21 τῷ ἡμίσει φυλῆς Μανασση τῷ ἐν τῇ Γαλααδ Ιαδδαι ὁ τοῦ Ζαβδιου τοῖς υἱοῖς Βενιαμιν Ασιηλ ὁ τοῦ Αβεννηρ 22 τῷ Δαν Αζαραηλ ὁ τοῦ Ιωραμ οὗτοι πατριάρχαι τῶν φυλῶν Ισραηλ 23 καὶ οὐκ ἔλαβεν Δαυιδ τὸν ἀριθμὸν αὐτῶν ἀπὸ εἰκοσαετοῦς καὶ κάτω ὅτι κύριος εἶπεν πληθῦναι τὸν Ισραηλ ὡς τοὺς ἀστέρας τοῦ οὐρανοῦ 24 καὶ Ιωαβ ὁ τοῦ Σαρουια ἤρξατο ἀριθμεῖν ἐν τῷ λαῷ καὶ οὐ συνετέλεσεν καὶ ἐγένετο ἐν τούτοις ὀργὴ ἐπὶ τὸν Ισραηλ καὶ οὐ κατεχωρίσθη ὁ ἀριθμὸς ἐν βιβλίῳ λόγων τῶν ἡμερῶν τοῦ βασιλέως Δαυιδ | 1 Now the children of Israel according to their number, the heads of families, captains of thousands and of hundreds, and officers, that served the king according to their companies, who came in and went out every month in the year, under every chief were four and twenty thousand. 2 Over the first company the first month Jesboam, the son of Zabdiel was chief, and under him were four and twenty thousand. 3 Of the sons of Phares, the chief of all the captains in the host in the first month. 4 The company of the second month was under Dudia, an Ahohite, and after him was another named Macelloth, who commanded a part of the army of four and twenty thousand. 5 And the captain of the third company for the third month, was Banaias the son of Joiada the priest: and in his division were four and twenty thousand. 6 This is that Banaias the most valiant among the thirty, and above the thirty. And Amizabad his son commanded his company. 7 The fourth, for the fourth month, was Asahel the brother of Joab, and Zabadias his son after him: and in his company were four and twenty thousand. 8 The fifth captain for the fifth month, was Samaoth a Jezerite: and his company were four and twenty thousand. 9 The sixth, for the sixth month, was Hira the son of Acces a Thecuite: and in his company were four and twenty thousand. 10 The seventh, for the seventh month, was Helles a Phallonite of the sons of Ephraim: and in his company were four and twenty thousand. 11 The eighth, for the eighth month, was Sobochai a Husathite of the race of Zarahi: and in his company were four and twenty thousand. 12 The ninth, for the ninth month, was Abiezer an Anathothite of the sons of Jemini, and in his company were four and twenty thousand. 13 The tenth, for the tenth month, was Marai, who was a Netophathite of the race of Zarai: and in his company were four and twenty thousand. 14 The eleventh, for the eleventh month, was Banaias, a Pharathonite of the sons of Ephraim: and in his company were four and twenty thousand. 15 The twelfth, for the twelfth month, was Holdai a Netophathite, of the race of Gothoniel: and in his company were four and twenty thousand. 16 Now the chiefs over the tribes of Israel were these: over the Rubenites, Eliezer the son of Zechri was ruler: over the Simeonites, Saphatias the son of Maacha: 17 Over the Levites, Hasabias the son of Camuel: over the Aaronites, Sadoc: 18 Over Juda, Eliu the brother of David over Issachar, Amri the son of Michael: 19 Over the Zabulonites, Jesmaias the son of Adias: over the Nephtalites, Jerimoth the son of Ozriel: 20 Over the sons of Ephraim, Osee the son of Ozaziu: over the half tribe of Manasses, Joel the son of Phadaia: 21 And over the half tribe of Manasses in Galaad, Jaddo the son of Zacharias: and over Benjamin, Jasiel the son of Abner. 22 And over Dan, Ezrihel the son of Jeroham: these were the princes of the children of Israel. 23 But David would not number them from twenty years old and under: because the lord had said that he would multiply Israel like the stars of heaven. 24 Joab the son of Sarvia began to number, but he finished not: because upon this there fell wrath upon Israel: and therefore the number of them that were numbered, was not registered in the chronicles of King David. | 1 Filii autem Israël secundum numerum suum, principes familiarum, tribuni, et centuriones, et præfecti, qui ministrabant regi juxta turmas suas, ingredientes et egredientes per singulos menses in anno, viginti quatuor millibus singuli præerant. 2 Primæ turmæ in primo mense Jesboam præerat filius Zabdiel, et sub eo viginti quatuor millia; 3 de filiis Phares, princeps cunctorum principum in exercitu mense primo. 4 Secundi mensis habebat turmam Dudia Ahohites, et post se alter nomine Macelloth, qui regebat partem exercitus viginti quatuor millium. 5 Dux quoque turmæ tertiæ in mense tertio erat Banaias filius Jojadæ sacerdos: et in divisione sua viginti quatuor millia. 6 Ipse est Banaias fortissimus inter triginta, et super triginta : præerat autem turmæ ipsius Amizabad filius ejus. 7 Quartus, mense quarto, Asahel frater Joab, et Zabadias filius ejus post eum : et in turma ejus viginti quatuor millia. 8 Quintus, mense quinto, princeps Samaoth Jezerites : et in turma ejus viginti quatuor millia. 9 Sextus, mense sexto, Hira filius Acces Thecuites : et in turma ejus viginti quatuor millia. 10 Septimus, mense septimo, Helles Phallonites de filiis Ephraim : et in turma ejus viginti quatuor millia. 11 Octavus, mense octavo, Sobochai Husathites de stirpe Zarahi : et in turma ejus viginti quatuor millia. 12 Nonus, mense nono, Abiezer Anathothites de filiis Jemini : et in turma ejus viginti quatuor millia. 13 Decimus, mense decimo, Marai, et ipse Netophathites de stirpe Zarai : et in turma ejus viginti quatuor millia. 14 Undecimus, mense undecimo, Banaias Pharathonites de filiis Ephraim : et in turma ejus viginti quatuor millia. 15 Duodecimus, mense duodecimo, Holdai Netophathites, de stirpe Gothoniel : et in turma ejus viginti quatuor millia. 16 Porro tribubus præerant Israël, Rubenitis, dux Eliezer filius Zechri : Simeonitis, dux Saphatias filius Maacha: 17 Levitis, Hasabias filius Camuel : Aaronitis, Sadoc: 18 Juda, Eliu frater David : Issachar, Amri filius Michaël. 19 Zabulonitis, Jesmaias filius Abdiæ : Nephthalitibus, Jerimoth filius Ozriel: 20 filiis Ephraim, Osee filius Ozaziu : dimidiæ tribui Manasse, Joël filius Phadaiæ: 21 et dimidiæ tribui Manasse in Galaad, Jaddo filius Zachariæ : Benjamin autem, Jasiel filius Abner: 22 Dan vero, Ezrihel filius Jeroham : hi principes filiorum Israël. 23 Noluit autem David numerare eos a viginti annis inferius : quia dixerat Dominus ut multiplicaret Israël quasi stellas cæli. 24 Joab filius Sarviæ cœperat numerare, nec complevit : quia super hoc ira irruerat in Israël, et idcirco numerus eorum qui fuerant recensiti, non est relatus in fastos regis David. |
| 25 καὶ ἐπὶ τῶν θησαυρῶν τοῦ βασιλέως Ασμωθ ὁ τοῦ Ωδιηλ καὶ ἐπὶ τῶν θησαυρῶν τῶν ἐν ἀγρῷ καὶ ἐν ταῖς κώμαις καὶ ἐν τοῖς ἐποικίοις καὶ ἐν τοῖς πύργοις Ιωναθαν ὁ τοῦ Οζιου 26 ἐπὶ δὲ τῶν γεωργούντων τὴν γῆν τῶν ἐργαζομένων Εσδρι ὁ τοῦ Χολουβ 27 καὶ ἐπὶ τῶν χωρίων Σεμεϊ ὁ ἐκ Ραμα καὶ ἐπὶ τῶν θησαυρῶν τῶν ἐν τοῖς χωρίοις τοῦ οἴνου Ζαχρι ὁ τοῦ Σεφνι 28 καὶ ἐπὶ τῶν ἐλαιώνων καὶ ἐπὶ τῶν συκαμίνων τῶν ἐν τῇ πεδινῇ Βαλανας ὁ Γεδωρίτης ἐπὶ δὲ τῶν θησαυρῶν τοῦ ἐλαίου Ιωας 29 καὶ ἐπὶ τῶν βοῶν τῶν νομάδων τῶν ἐν τῷ Ασιδων Σατραις ὁ Σαρωνίτης καὶ ἐπὶ τῶν βοῶν τῶν ἐν τοῖς αὐλῶσιν Σωφατ ὁ τοῦ Αδλι 30 ἐπὶ δὲ τῶν καμήλων Ωβιλ ὁ Ισμαηλίτης ἐπὶ δὲ τῶν ὄνων Ιαδιας ὁ ἐκ Μεραθων 31 καὶ ἐπὶ τῶν προβάτων Ιαζιζ ὁ Αγαρίτης πάντες οὗτοι προστάται ὑπαρχόντων Δαυιδ τοῦ βασιλέως 32 καὶ Ιωναθαν ὁ πατράδελφος Δαυιδ σύμβουλος ἄνθρωπος συνετὸς καὶ γραμματεὺς αὐτός καὶ Ιιηλ ὁ τοῦ Αχαμανι μετὰ τῶν υἱῶν τοῦ βασιλέως 33 καὶ Αχιτοφελ σύμβουλος τοῦ βασιλέως καὶ Χουσι πρῶτος φίλος τοῦ βασιλέως 34 καὶ μετὰ τοῦτον Αχιτοφελ ἐχόμενος Ιωδαε ὁ τοῦ Βαναιου καὶ Αβιαθαρ καὶ Ιωαβ ἀρχιστράτηγος τοῦ βασιλέως | 25 And over the king's treasures was Azmoth the son of Adiel: and over those stores which were in the cities, and in the villages, and, in the castles, was Jonathan the son of Ozias. 26 And over the tillage, and the husbandmen, who tilled the ground, was Ezri the son of Chelub: 27 And over the dressers of the vine yards, was Semeias a Romathite: and over the wine cellars, Zabdias an Aphonite. 28 And over the oliveyards and the fig groves, which were in the plains, was Balanam a Gederite: and over the oil cellars, Joas. 29 And over the herds that fed in Saron, was Setrai a Saronite: and over the oxen in the valleys, Saphat the son of Adli: 30 And over the camels, Ubil an Ishmahelite and over the asses, Jadias a Meronathite: 31 And over the sheep Jaziz an Agarene. All these were the rulers of the substance of King David. 32 And Jonathan David's uncle, a counsellor, a wise and learned man: he and Jahiel the son of Hachamoni were with the king's sons. 33 And Achitophel was the king's counsellor, and 34 And after Achitophel was Joiada the son of Banaias, and Abiathar. And the general of the king's army was Joab. | 25 Super thesauros autem regis fuit Azmoth filius Adiel : his autem thesauris, qui erant in urbibus, et in vicis, et in turribus, præsidebat Jonathan filius Oziæ. 26 Operi autem rustico, et agricolis qui exercebant terram, præerat Ezri filius Chelub: 27 vinearumque cultoribus, Semeias Romathites : cellis autem vinariis, Zabdias Aphonites. 28 Nam super oliveta et ficeta quæ erant in campestribus, Balanam Gederites : super apothecas autem olei, Joas. 29 Porro armentis quæ pascebantur in Saron, præpositus fuit Setrai Saronites : et super boves in vallibus, Saphat filius Adli: 30 super camelos vero, Ubil Ismahelites : et super asinos, Jadias Meronathites: 31 super oves quoque, Jaziz Agareus : omnes hi, principes substantiæ regis David. 32 Jonathan autem patruus David, consiliarius, vir prudens et litteratus : ipse et Jahiel filius Hachamoni erant cum filiis regis. 33 Achitophel etiam consiliarius regis, et Chusai Arachites amicus regis. 34 Post Achitophel fuit Jojada filius Banaiæ, et Abiathar. Princeps autem exercitus regis erat Joab. |
