| 1 ὅτε ὁ οἶκος ᾠκοδομεῖτο μετὰ τὴν αἰχμαλωσίαν ᾠδὴ τῷ Δαυιδ ᾄσατε τῷ κυρίῳ ᾆσμα καινόν ᾄσατε τῷ κυρίῳ πᾶσα ἡ γῆ 2 ᾄσατε τῷ κυρίῳ εὐλογήσατε τὸ ὄνομα αὐτοῦ εὐαγγελίζεσθε ἡμέραν ἐξ ἡμέρας τὸ σωτήριον αὐτοῦ 3 ἀναγγείλατε ἐν τοῖς ἔθνεσιν τὴν δόξαν αὐτοῦ ἐν πᾶσι τοῖς λαοῖς τὰ θαυμάσια αὐτοῦ 4 ὅτι μέγας κύριος καὶ αἰνετὸς σφόδρα φοβερός ἐστιν ἐπὶ πάντας τοὺς θεούς 5 ὅτι πάντες οἱ θεοὶ τῶν ἐθνῶν δαιμόνια ὁ δὲ κύριος τοὺς οὐρανοὺς ἐποίησεν 6 ἐξομολόγησις καὶ ὡραιότης ἐνώπιον αὐτοῦ ἁγιωσύνη καὶ μεγαλοπρέπεια ἐν τῷ ἁγιάσματι αὐτοῦ 7 ἐνέγκατε τῷ κυρίῳ αἱ πατριαὶ τῶν ἐθνῶν ἐνέγκατε τῷ κυρίῳ δόξαν καὶ τιμήν 8 ἐνέγκατε τῷ κυρίῳ δόξαν ὀνόματι αὐτοῦ ἄρατε θυσίας καὶ εἰσπορεύεσθε εἰς τὰς αὐλὰς αὐτοῦ 9 προσκυνήσατε τῷ κυρίῳ ἐν αὐλῇ ἁγίᾳ αὐτοῦ σαλευθήτω ἀπὸ προσώπου αὐτοῦ πᾶσα ἡ γῆ 10 εἴπατε ἐν τοῖς ἔθνεσιν ὁ κύριος ἐβασίλευσεν καὶ γὰρ κατώρθωσεν τὴν οἰκουμένην ἥτις οὐ σαλευθήσεται κρινεῖ λαοὺς ἐν εὐθύτητι 11 εὐφραινέσθωσαν οἱ οὐρανοί καὶ ἀγαλλιάσθω ἡ γῆ σαλευθήτω ἡ θάλασσα καὶ τὸ πλήρωμα αὐτῆς 12 χαρήσεται τὰ πεδία καὶ πάντα τὰ ἐν αὐτοῖς τότε ἀγαλλιάσονται πάντα τὰ ξύλα τοῦ δρυμοῦ 13 πρὸ προσώπου κυρίου ὅτι ἔρχεται ὅτι ἔρχεται κρῖναι τὴν γῆν κρινεῖ τὴν οἰκουμένην ἐν δικαιοσύνῃ καὶ λαοὺς ἐν τῇ ἀληθείᾳ αὐτοῦ | 1 Sing to the Lord a new canticle: sing to the Lord, all the earth. 2 Sing to the Lord and bless his name: show forth his salvation from day to day. 3 Declare his glory among the Gentiles: his wonders among all people. 4 For the Lord is great, and exceedingly to be praised: he is to be feared above all gods. 5 For all the gods of the Gentiles are devils: but the Lord made the heavens. 6 Praise and beauty are before him: holiness and majesty in his sanctuary. 7 Bring to the Lord, O you kindreds of the Gentiles, bring to the Lord glory and honour: 8 Bring to the Lord glory unto his name. Bring up sacrifices, and come into his courts: 9 Adore the Lord in his holy court. Let all the earth be moved at his presence. 10 Say among the Gentiles, the Lord has reigned. For he has corrected the world, which shall not be moved: he will judge the people with justice. 11 Let the heavens rejoice, and let the earth be glad, let the sea be moved, and the fullness thereof: 12 The fields and all things that are in them shall be joyful. Then shall all the trees of the woods rejoice 13 before the face of the Lord, because he comes: because he comes to judge the earth. He shall judge the world with justice, and the people with his truth. | 1 Cantate Domino canticum novum; cantate Domino omnis terra. 2 Cantate Domino, et benedicite nomini ejus; annuntiate de die in diem salutare ejus. 3 Annuntiate inter gentes gloriam ejus; in omnibus populis mirabilia ejus. 4 Quoniam magnus Dominus, et laudabilis nimis : terribilis est super omnes deos. 5 Quoniam omnes dii gentium dæmonia; Dominus autem cælos fecit. 6 Confessio et pulchritudo in conspectu ejus; sanctimonia et magnificentia in sanctificatione ejus. 7 Afferte Domino, patriæ gentium, afferte Domino gloriam et honorem; 8 afferte Domino gloriam nomini ejus. Tollite hostias, et introite in atria ejus; 9 adorate Dominum in atrio sancto ejus. Commoveatur a facie ejus universa terra; 10 dicite in gentibus, quia Dominus regnavit. Etenim correxit orbem terræ, qui non commovebitur; judicabit populos in æquitate. 11 Lætentur cæli, et exsultet terra; commoveatur mare et plenitudo ejus; 12 gaudebunt campi, et omnia quæ in eis sunt. Tunc exsultabunt omnia ligna silvarum 13 a facie Domini, quia venit, quoniam venit judicare terram. Judicabit orbem terræ in æquitate, et populos in veritate sua. |
