| 1 αλληλουια ἠγάπησα ὅτι εἰσακούσεται κύριος τῆς φωνῆς τῆς δεήσεώς μου 2 ὅτι ἔκλινεν τὸ οὖς αὐτοῦ ἐμοί καὶ ἐν ταῖς ἡμέραις μου ἐπικαλέσομαι 3 περιέσχον με ὠδῖνες θανάτου κίνδυνοι ᾅδου εὕροσάν με θλῖψιν καὶ ὀδύνην εὗρον 4 καὶ τὸ ὄνομα κυρίου ἐπεκαλεσάμην ὦ κύριε ῥῦσαι τὴν ψυχήν μου 5 ἐλεήμων ὁ κύριος καὶ δίκαιος καὶ ὁ θεὸς ἡμῶν ἐλεᾷ 6 φυλάσσων τὰ νήπια ὁ κύριος ἐταπεινώθην καὶ ἔσωσέν με 7 ἐπίστρεψον ἡ ψυχή μου εἰς τὴν ἀνάπαυσίν σου ὅτι κύριος εὐηργέτησέν σε 8 ὅτι ἐξείλατο τὴν ψυχήν μου ἐκ θανάτου τοὺς ὀφθαλμούς μου ἀπὸ δακρύων καὶ τοὺς πόδας μου ἀπὸ ὀλισθήματος 9 εὐαρεστήσω ἐναντίον κυρίου ἐν χώρᾳ ζώντων | 1 I have loved, because the Lord will hear the voice of my prayer. 2 Because he has inclined his ear unto me: and in my days I will call upon him. 3 The sorrows of death have compassed me: and the perils of hell have found me. I met with trouble and sorrow: 4 And I called upon the name of the Lord. O Lord, deliver my soul. 5 The Lord is merciful and just, and our God shows mercy. 6 The Lord is the keeper of little ones: I was humbled, and he delivered me. 7 Turn, O my soul, into your rest: for the Lord has been bountiful to you. 8 For he has delivered my soul from death: my eyes from tears, my feet from falling. 9 I will please the Lord in the land of the living. | 1 Dilexi, quoniam exaudiet Dominus vocem orationis meæ. 2 Quia inclinavit aurem suam mihi, et in diebus meis invocabo. 3 Circumdederunt me dolores mortis; et pericula inferni invenerunt me. Tribulationem et dolorem inveni, 4 et nomen Domini invocavi : o Domine, libera animam meam. 5 Misericors Dominus et justus, et Deus noster miseretur. 6 Custodiens parvulos Dominus; humiliatus sum, et liberavit me. 7 Convertere, anima mea, in requiem tuam, quia Dominus benefecit tibi: 8 quia eripuit animam meam de morte, oculos meos a lacrimis, pedes meos a lapsu. 9 Placebo Domino in regione vivorum. |
| 10 αλληλουια ἐπίστευσα διὸ ἐλάλησα ἐγὼ δὲ ἐταπεινώθην σφόδρα 11 ἐγὼ εἶπα ἐν τῇ ἐκστάσει μου πᾶς ἄνθρωπος ψεύστης 12 τί ἀνταποδώσω τῷ κυρίῳ περὶ πάντων ὧν ἀνταπέδωκέν μοι 13 ποτήριον σωτηρίου λήμψομαι καὶ τὸ ὄνομα κυρίου ἐπικαλέσομαι 14 15 τίμιος ἐναντίον κυρίου ὁ θάνατος τῶν ὁσίων αὐτοῦ 16 ὦ κύριε ἐγὼ δοῦλος σός ἐγὼ δοῦλος σὸς καὶ υἱὸς τῆς παιδίσκης σου διέρρηξας τοὺς δεσμούς μου 17 σοὶ θύσω θυσίαν αἰνέσεως 18 τὰς εὐχάς μου τῷ κυρίῳ ἀποδώσω ἐναντίον παντὸς τοῦ λαοῦ αὐτοῦ 19 ἐν αὐλαῖς οἴκου κυρίου ἐν μέσῳ σου Ιερουσαλημ | 10 Alleluia. I have believed, therefore have I spoken; but I have been humbled exceedingly. 11 I said in my excess: Every man is a liar. 12 What shall I render to the Lord, for all the things that he has rendered to me? 13 I will take the chalice of salvation; and I will call upon the name of the Lord. 14 I will pay my vows to the Lord before all his people: 15 Precious in the sight of the Lord is the death of his saints. 16 O Lord, for I am your servant: I am your servant, and the son of your handmaid. You have broken my bonds: 17 I will sacrifice to you the sacrifice of praise, and I will call upon the name of the Lord. 18 I will pay my vows to the Lord in the sight of all his people: 19 In the courts of the house of the Lord, in the midst of you, O Jerusalem. | 10 Alleluja. Credidi, propter quod locutus sum; ego autem humiliatus sum nimis. 11 Ego dixi in excessu meo : Omnis homo mendax. 12 Quid retribuam Domino pro omnibus quæ retribuit mihi? 13 Calicem salutaris accipiam, et nomen Domini invocabo. 14 Vota mea Domino reddam coram omni populo ejus. 15 Pretiosa in conspectu Domini mors sanctorum ejus. 16 O Domine, quia ego servus tuus; ego servus tuus, et filius ancillæ tuæ. Dirupisti vincula mea: 17 tibi sacrificabo hostiam laudis, et nomen Domini invocabo. 18 Vota mea Domino reddam in conspectu omnis populi ejus; 19 in atriis domus Domini, in medio tui, Jerusalem. |
