| 2 αἰνέσω κύριον ἐν ζωῇ μου ψαλῶ τῷ θεῷ μου ἕως ὑπάρχω 3 μὴ πεποίθατε ἐπ' ἄρχοντας καὶ ἐφ' υἱοὺς ἀνθρώπων οἷς οὐκ ἔστιν σωτηρία 4 ἐξελεύσεται τὸ πνεῦμα αὐτοῦ καὶ ἐπιστρέψει εἰς τὴν γῆν αὐτοῦ ἐν ἐκείνῃ τῇ ἡμέρᾳ ἀπολοῦνται πάντες οἱ διαλογισμοὶ αὐτῶν 5 μακάριος οὗ ὁ θεὸς Ιακωβ βοηθός ἡ ἐλπὶς αὐτοῦ ἐπὶ κύριον τὸν θεὸν αὐτοῦ 6 τὸν ποιήσαντα τὸν οὐρανὸν καὶ τὴν γῆν τὴν θάλασσαν καὶ πάντα τὰ ἐν αὐτοῖς τὸν φυλάσσοντα ἀλήθειαν εἰς τὸν αἰῶνα 7 ποιοῦντα κρίμα τοῖς ἀδικουμένοις διδόντα τροφὴν τοῖς πεινῶσιν κύριος λύει πεπεδημένους 8 κύριος ἀνορθοῖ κατερραγμένους κύριος σοφοῖ τυφλούς κύριος ἀγαπᾷ δικαίους 9 κύριος φυλάσσει τοὺς προσηλύτους ὀρφανὸν καὶ χήραν ἀναλήμψεται καὶ ὁδὸν ἁμαρτωλῶν ἀφανιεῖ 10 βασιλεύσει κύριος εἰς τὸν αἰῶνα ὁ θεός σου Σιων εἰς γενεὰν καὶ γενεάν | 2 Praise the Lord, O my soul, in my life I will praise the Lord: I will sing to my God as long as I shall be. Put not your trust in princes: 3 In the children of men, in whom there is no salvation. 4 His spirit shall go forth, and he shall return into his earth: in that day all their thoughts shall perish. 5 Blessed is he who has the God of Jacob for his helper, whose hope is in the Lord his God: 6 Who made heaven and earth, the sea, and all things that are in them. 7 Who keeps truth for ever: who executes judgment for them that suffer wrong: who gives food to the hungry. The Lord loosens them that are fettered: 8 The Lord enlightens the blind. The Lord lifts up them that are cast down: the Lord loves the just. 9 The Lord keeps the strangers, he will support the fatherless and the widow: and the ways of sinners he will destroy. 10 The Lord shall reign for ever: your God, O Sion, unto generation and generation. | 2 Lauda, anima mea, Dominum. Dominus solvit compeditos; 8 Dominus illuminat cæcos. Dominus erigit elisos; Dominus diligit justos. 9 Dominus custodit advenas, pupillum et viduam suscipiet, et vias peccatorum disperdet. 10 Regnabit Dominus in sæcula; Deus tuus, Sion, in generationem et generationem. |
