| 1 τῷ Δαυιδ ὅτε ἡ γῆ αὐτοῦ καθίσταται ὁ κύριος ἐβασίλευσεν ἀγαλλιάσθω ἡ γῆ εὐφρανθήτωσαν νῆσοι πολλαί 2 νεφέλη καὶ γνόφος κύκλῳ αὐτοῦ δικαιοσύνη καὶ κρίμα κατόρθωσις τοῦ θρόνου αὐτοῦ 3 πῦρ ἐναντίον αὐτοῦ προπορεύσεται καὶ φλογιεῖ κύκλῳ τοὺς ἐχθροὺς αὐτοῦ 4 ἔφαναν αἱ ἀστραπαὶ αὐτοῦ τῇ οἰκουμένῃ εἶδεν καὶ ἐσαλεύθη ἡ γῆ 5 τὰ ὄρη ἐτάκησαν ὡσεὶ κηρὸς ἀπὸ προσώπου κυρίου ἀπὸ προσώπου κυρίου πάσης τῆς γῆς 6 ἀνήγγειλαν οἱ οὐρανοὶ τὴν δικαιοσύνην αὐτοῦ καὶ εἴδοσαν πάντες οἱ λαοὶ τὴν δόξαν αὐτοῦ 7 αἰσχυνθήτωσαν πάντες οἱ προσκυνοῦντες τοῖς γλυπτοῖς οἱ ἐγκαυχώμενοι ἐν τοῖς εἰδώλοις αὐτῶν προσκυνήσατε αὐτῷ πάντες οἱ ἄγγελοι αὐτοῦ 8 ἤκουσεν καὶ εὐφράνθη Σιων καὶ ἠγαλλιάσαντο αἱ θυγατέρες τῆς Ιουδαίας ἕνεκεν τῶν κριμάτων σου κύριε 9 ὅτι σὺ εἶ κύριος ὁ ὕψιστος ἐπὶ πᾶσαν τὴν γῆν σφόδρα ὑπερυψώθης ὑπὲρ πάντας τοὺς θεούς 10 οἱ ἀγαπῶντες τὸν κύριον μισεῖτε πονηρόν φυλάσσει κύριος τὰς ψυχὰς τῶν ὁσίων αὐτοῦ ἐκ χειρὸς ἁμαρτωλῶν ῥύσεται αὐτούς 11 φῶς ἀνέτειλεν τῷ δικαίῳ καὶ τοῖς εὐθέσι τῇ καρδίᾳ εὐφροσύνη 12 εὐφράνθητε δίκαιοι ἐπὶ τῷ κυρίῳ καὶ ἐξομολογεῖσθε τῇ μνήμῃ τῆς ἁγιωσύνης αὐτοῦ | 1 The Lord has reigned, let the earth rejoice: let many islands be glad. 2 Clouds and darkness are round about him: justice and judgment are the establishment of his throne. 3 A fire shall go before him, and shall burn his enemies round about. 4 His lightnings have shone forth to the world: the earth saw and trembled. 5 The mountains melted like wax, at the presence of the Lord: at the presence of the Lord of all the earth. 6 The heavens declared his justice: and all people saw his glory. 7 Let them be all confounded that adore graven things, and that glory in their idols. Adore him, all you his angels: 8 Sion heard, and was glad. And the daughters of Juda rejoiced, because of your judgments, O Lord. 9 For you are the most high Lord over all the earth: you are exalted exceedingly above all gods. 10 You that love the Lord, hate evil: the Lord preserves the souls of his saints, he will deliver them out of the hand of the sinner. 11 Light is risen to the just, and joy to the right of heart. 12 Rejoice, you just, in the Lord: and give praise to the remembrance of his holiness. | 1 Dominus regnavit : exsultet terra; lætentur insulæ multæ. 2 Nubes et caligo in circuitu ejus; justitia et judicium correctio sedis ejus. 3 Ignis ante ipsum præcedet, et inflammabit in circuitu inimicos ejus. 4 Illuxerunt fulgura ejus orbi terræ; vidit, et commota est terra. 5 Montes sicut cera fluxerunt a facie Domini; a facie Domini omnis terra. 6 Annuntiaverunt cæli justitiam ejus, et viderunt omnes populi gloriam ejus. 7 Confundantur omnes qui adorant sculptilia, et qui gloriantur in simulacris suis. Adorate eum omnes angeli ejus. 8 Audivit, et lætata est Sion, et exsultaverunt filiæ Judæ propter judicia tua, Domine. 9 Quoniam tu Dominus altissimus super omnem terram; nimis exaltatus es super omnes deos. 10 Qui diligitis Dominum, odite malum : custodit Dominus animas sanctorum suorum; de manu peccatoris liberabit eos. 11 Lux orta est justo, et rectis corde lætitia. 12 Lætamini, justi, in Domino, et confitemini memoriæ sanctificationis ejus. |
