| 1 αλληλουια Αγγαιου καὶ Ζαχαριου αἰνεῖτε τὸν κύριον ὅτι ἀγαθὸν ψαλμός τῷ θεῷ ἡμῶν ἡδυνθείη αἴνεσις 2 οἰκοδομῶν Ιερουσαλημ ὁ κύριος καὶ τὰς διασπορὰς τοῦ Ισραηλ ἐπισυνάξει 3 ὁ ἰώμενος τοὺς συντετριμμένους τὴν καρδίαν καὶ δεσμεύων τὰ συντρίμματα αὐτῶν 4 ὁ ἀριθμῶν πλήθη ἄστρων καὶ πᾶσιν αὐτοῖς ὀνόματα καλῶν 5 μέγας ὁ κύριος ἡμῶν καὶ μεγάλη ἡ ἰσχὺς αὐτοῦ καὶ τῆς συνέσεως αὐτοῦ οὐκ ἔστιν ἀριθμός 6 ἀναλαμβάνων πραεῖς ὁ κύριος ταπεινῶν δὲ ἁμαρτωλοὺς ἕως τῆς γῆς 7 ἐξάρξατε τῷ κυρίῳ ἐν ἐξομολογήσει ψάλατε τῷ θεῷ ἡμῶν ἐν κιθάρᾳ 8 τῷ περιβάλλοντι τὸν οὐρανὸν ἐν νεφέλαις τῷ ἑτοιμάζοντι τῇ γῇ ὑετόν τῷ ἐξανατέλλοντι ἐν ὄρεσι χόρτον καὶ χλόην τῇ δουλείᾳ τῶν ἀνθρώπων 9 διδόντι τοῖς κτήνεσι τροφὴν αὐτῶν καὶ τοῖς νεοσσοῖς τῶν κοράκων τοῖς ἐπικαλουμένοις αὐτόν 10 οὐκ ἐν τῇ δυναστείᾳ τοῦ ἵππου θελήσει οὐδὲ ἐν ταῖς κνήμαις τοῦ ἀνδρὸς εὐδοκεῖ 11 εὐδοκεῖ κύριος ἐν τοῖς φοβουμένοις αὐτὸν καὶ ἐν τοῖς ἐλπίζουσιν ἐπὶ τὸ ἔλεος αὐτοῦ | 1 Praise the Lord, because psalm is good: to our God be joyful and comely praise. 2 The Lord builds up Jerusalem: he will gather together the dispersed of Israel. 3 Who heals the broken of heart, and binds up their bruises. 4 Who tells the number of the stars: and calls them all by their names. 5 Great is our Lord, and great is his power: and of his wisdom there is no number. 6 The Lord lifts up the meek, and brings the wicked down even to the ground. 7 Sing to the Lord with praise: sing to our God upon the harp. 8 Who covers the heaven with clouds, and prepares rain for the earth. Who makes grass to grow on the mountains, and herbs for the service of men. 9 Who gives to beasts their food: and to the young ravens that call upon him. 10 He shall not delight in the strength of the horse: nor take pleasure in the legs of a man. 11 The Lord takes pleasure in them that fear him: and in them that hope in his mercy. | 1 Laudate Dominum, quoniam bonus est psalmus; Deo nostro sit jucunda, decoraque laudatio. 2 Ædificans Jerusalem Dominus, dispersiones Israëlis congregabit: 3 qui sanat contritos corde, et alligat contritiones eorum; 4 qui numerat multitudinem stellarum, et omnibus eis nomina vocat. 5 Magnus Dominus noster, et magna virtus ejus, et sapientiæ ejus non est numerus. 6 Suscipiens mansuetos Dominus; humilians autem peccatores usque ad terram. 7 Præcinite Domino in confessione; psallite Deo nostro in cithara. 8 Qui operit cælum nubibus, et parat terræ pluviam; qui producit in montibus fœnum, et herbam servituti hominum; 9 qui dat jumentis escam ipsorum, et pullis corvorum invocantibus eum. 10 Non in fortitudine equi voluntatem habebit, nec in tibiis viri beneplacitum erit ei. 11 Beneplacitum est Domino super timentes eum, et in eis qui sperant super misericordia ejus. |
| 12 Αγγαιου καὶ Ζαχαριου ἐπαίνει Ιερουσαλημ τὸν κύριον αἴνει τὸν θεόν σου Σιων 13 ὅτι ἐνίσχυσεν τοὺς μοχλοὺς τῶν πυλῶν σου εὐλόγησεν τοὺς υἱούς σου ἐν σοί 14 ὁ τιθεὶς τὰ ὅριά σου εἰρήνην καὶ στέαρ πυροῦ ἐμπιπλῶν σε 15 ὁ ἀποστέλλων τὸ λόγιον αὐτοῦ τῇ γῇ ἕως τάχους δραμεῖται ὁ λόγος αὐτοῦ 16 τοῦ διδόντος χιόνα ὡσεὶ ἔριον ὁμίχλην ὡσεὶ σποδὸν πάσσοντος 17 βάλλοντος κρύσταλλον αὐτοῦ ὡσεὶ ψωμούς κατὰ πρόσωπον ψύχους αὐτοῦ τίς ὑποστήσεται 18 ἀποστελεῖ τὸν λόγον αὐτοῦ καὶ τήξει αὐτά πνεύσει τὸ πνεῦμα αὐτοῦ καὶ ῥυήσεται ὕδατα 19 ἀπαγγέλλων τὸν λόγον αὐτοῦ τῷ Ιακωβ δικαιώματα καὶ κρίματα αὐτοῦ τῷ Ισραηλ 20 οὐκ ἐποίησεν οὕτως παντὶ ἔθνει καὶ τὰ κρίματα αὐτοῦ οὐκ ἐδήλωσεν αὐτοῖς | 12 Praise the Lord, O Jerusalem: praise your God, O Sion. 13 Because he has strengthened the bolts of your gates, he has blessed your children within you. 14 Who has placed peace in your borders: and fills you with the fat of corn. 15 Who sends forth his speech to the earth: his word runs swiftly. 16 Who gives snow like wool: scatters mists like ashes. 17 He sends his crystal like morsels: who shall stand before the face of his cold? 18 He shall send out his word, and shall melt them: his wind shall blow, and the waters shall run. 19 Who declares his word to Jacob: his justices and his judgments to Israel. 20 He has not done in like manner to every nation: and his judgments he has not made manifest to them. Alleluia. | 12 Lauda, Jerusalem, Dominum; lauda Deum tuum, Sion. 13 Quoniam confortavit seras portarum tuarum; benedixit filiis tuis in te. 14 Qui posuit fines tuos pacem, et adipe frumenti satiat te. 15 Qui emittit eloquium suum terræ : velociter currit sermo ejus. 16 Qui dat nivem sicut lanam; nebulam sicut cinerem spargit. 17 Mittit crystallum suam sicut buccellas : ante faciem frigoris ejus quis sustinebit? 18 Emittet verbum suum, et liquefaciet ea; flabit spiritus ejus, et fluent aquæ. 19 Qui annuntiat verbum suum Jacob, justitias et judicia sua Israël. 20 Non fecit taliter omni nationi, et judicia sua non manifestavit eis.
